Breki lived in Iceland for the first twelve years of his life. He was mostly ridden by Bjarni. Bjarni is a contractor/carpenter who stands about 6'-5". Breki is normally an unemotional horse but when Bjarni visited him in his American stable Breki apparently remembered "old times" together and acted pleased to see him, and very pleased to take a quick circuit of the fields.
Breki's disposition and training makes him an excellent school horse for kids, as well. That is his day job!
